The English Section at the faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University will welcome its freshmen students on Monday the 10th of October at the conference hall.
The orientation day will be held under the auspices of Prof. Othman Elkhosht, the president of Cairo University, and Prof. Hanan Gunied, the Dean of the faculty of mass communication.
Prof. Nermeen Alazrak, the head of the English Section, will start the day with a welcoming word for the newcomers, followed by a word by Prof. Hanan Gunied and Prof. Salwa Alawadly, the vice dean of the faculty for the student affairs.

The guest star of the orientation day will be Prof. Amr Ellissy, the famous TV presenter. He will have a welcoming speech for the students, giving them advices about their future and career.
The day will be full of prominent guests from the media field, as well as graduates from the English Section who have done achievements in the field.
A documentary film about the English Section since its establishment will be presented during the day, as well as a presentation about the English Section Program and the courses and the departments the students will join during their journey at the faculty.
Dr. Hany Mohamed Ali will announce the new website entitled (The EMCCU Today), where the students will be able to publish their work and projects from articles, interviews, or videos that cover many fields of interest.
