As part of the Faculty of Mass Communication – Cairo University’s commitment to developing students’ skills and connecting them with the labor market, the International Branch of the Faculty organized a seminar entitled “Restart My Media Journey,” under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadeq, President of Cairo University; Prof. Dr. Heba Nouh, Assistant President of the University for International Branch Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Wesam Nasr, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication and Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research.

The seminar hosted writer and author Mr. Eyad Saleh, who spoke about his experience in transforming an idea into a cinematic film, outlining the stages of developing a story from script to screen and the challenges facing content creators in the drama and film industry. Media professional Hager Gamal, Program Director at Shaabi FM, also participated, sharing her professional journey in the world of radio and how she established a distinguished presence in the media field.

The seminar witnessed significant student engagement, as the speakers discussed mechanisms for building a professional media career, the importance of developing practical skills, and keeping pace with digital transformations, contributing to the preparation of a generation capable of competing in the media labor market.
