Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal praises Egypt for hosting COP27 Climate Summit

    Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud, head of the AGFUND Program, praised Egypt`s hosting of the COP27 Climate Conference in Sharm El Sheikh, stressing that the conference is a strong opportunity to shed light on the efforts and initiatives launched in the region, including the Saudi initiatives and the Middle East.

    Bin Talal indicated, during the activities of the climate conference in Sharm El-Sheikh on the fourth day, that societies and governments have a strong commitment to overcome these challenges to reach a global partnership to overcome the threat of imminent climate change, expressing his hope that the Prince Talal Prize will contribute to launching other global initiatives to help Efforts in the climate sector, exchange of experiences and finding mechanisms and solutions.

    He also valued the provision of the Arab Coordination Group for Climate Action for Sustainable Development, with $24 billion to overcome some climate crises around the world, stressing their commitment to work for Africa to be more robust, ready to mitigate climate and food security.
