 (526)

A session entitled "Community-based violence in cooperation with the World Health Organization", was attended today by Dr. Naima Al-Qusair, representative of the World Health Organization in Egypt, Dr. Heba Abu Bakr, Coordinator of Community Participation in Health, at the World Health Organization, and Dr. Azza Kamel, Founder of appropriate communication technologies for development company, and Salma Dahab, Gender Unit Coordinator, IOM Mission in Egypt.
The session highlighted the links between climate change, gender-based violence and health, especially towards women, as well as highlighting the role of art and cinema in promoting health, well-being, climate action and eliminating gender-based violence.
It also pointed out that art is a life that conveys values, humanity, human concerns and their suffering, especially as a result of climate change, and we had the opportunity before to watch this through films that show pressing issues in society and natural disasters.
