Blended Learning Center Achieves Growth Rate of 44% over Past Year

    Dr. Mohamed Othman El-Khosht, President of Cairo University, chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Blended Learning Center to discuss the agenda, in the presence of the members of the Board of Vice-Presidents of the University, deans of a number of faculties, the Director of the Center, and the Secretary-General of the University.
    The Board of Directors of the Center listened to a presentation by the Financial Controller on reviewing the financial statements of the Center during the year 2021-2022, increasing revenues and achieving a growth rate of 44% over the past year.
    Dr. Al-Khosht directed the development of the educational process at the center and keeping aware of global developments in the field of continuing education, and setting a vision for new study programs and training courses that keep pace with developments in the labor market.

    The President of Cairo University directed to expand the provision of the center’s services and educational programs according to the latest blended education systems, and to develop new programs with the blended education system targeting the labor market according to the latest international standards due to the growing increase of students wishing to study in the blended education system
    Dr. ElKhosht said that Cairo University was a pioneer in introducing the blended education system years ago as an alternative to the open education system, adding that the shift from the open education system to the blended education system is one of the best educational paths that combine the advantages of different educational systems in one integrated system.

    For his part, Dr. Essam Jamil, Director of the Blended Learning Center, reviewed a report on the center`s achievements and activities during the year 2021/2022, including increasing the number of students, conducting online tests for foreign students, developing the center`s infrastructure and technology, working within the university`s strategic plan and developing new educational programs with a system Blended Learning at the bachelor’s, and professional diploma levels, so that it performs its work in the most modern manner, modernizing the registration hall and its digital transformation, and converting all certificates and testimonies into insured certificates of the highest quality. .
