On the sidelines of participation in the Higher Education Investment Forum at the Egyptian Cultural Office in London, Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, visited City University of London, accompanied by Dr. Sinodad Robinson, Vice President for Entrepreneurship, International Relations and Employment, and Dr. Rajkumar Roy, Dean of the College of Science and Technology, and Dr. Nasser Saima, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Dr. Peter Boeff Dean of international relations at the university.
The visit discussed modern systems, work mechanisms and partnerships offered by the Ministry of Higher Education through various partnership systems based on partnership between the public and private sectors or opening a branch of the partnership system between the public and private sectors.

The minister reviewed the ministry`s priorities and interest in investing in education - referring to the state`s interest in investing in higher education, especially with the political leadership`s belief in the importance of university education and considering it a key to social and economic development, and a means to confirm Egypt`s position as a regional center for higher education in the region.
Dr. Sinodad Robinson, Vice President of the University for Entrepreneurship and International Relations, indicated that Egypt is one of the top priorities of the university`s strategic plan in cross-border education, explaining that the project will be presented to the university`s board of trustees to support and implement the project.

The visit included organizing a tour for the minister and his accompanying delegation; to get acquainted with the various interdisciplinary specializations offered by the university and the specialized and distinguished laboratories, as well as reviewing student projects that serve the community surrounding the university. .
