3,000 students in pre-university education levels to take the tests of the “Digital Cubs

    Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, inspected the work of the tests of the “Digital Cubs of Egypt” initiative, which is held at the Electronic Test Center at the Faculty of Medicine, on August 29 and 30, for 3,000 students in pre-university education levels to take the tests of the “Digital Cubs of Egypt” initiative in the English language. And the basics of information technology, and logical, arithmetic and personal skills, within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and government universities.
    Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, explained that the Electronic Test Center at the Faculty of Medicine, Kasr Al-Ainy, accommodates the examination of 2,900 students simultaneously, as it consists of 3 floors that are equipped with 2,900 work cells, 63 surveillance cameras, 3 data centers, and a room for monitoring roles. In the context of the trend towards holding electronic exams at the college, announcing the results accurately, saving time in the correction process and preventing fraud.

    For her part, Dr. Manal Al-Masry, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, said that the faculty had developed a prior plan that was presented to the university president to hold tests, receive students and their parents, and secure them. The plan included organizing examination halls and monitoring work, distributing students in the halls to achieve the necessary distance, and providing a technical support team To intervene quickly to solve any problem, form a group of security and civil defense to follow up and be fully prepared in emergency situations, provide an ambulance on the campus of the college, allocate stands as a break for students and their parents, review data and file statements, and assign workers to specific tasks, noting that the tests were carried out in the college on 4 Periods per day during the 29th and 30th of August.
    It is worth noting that the Digital Egypt “Ashbal Egypt” initiative was launched by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in May 2022, to hone the skills of 3,000 outstanding students in all Egyptian schools in all governorates in different technological sciences. Digital, software development, network and information security, artificial intelligence and robotics, in addition to training them in personal and leadership skills such as communication arts, time management, team work, leadership, entrepreneurship and sustainable development
    .

    Dr.Elkhosht: The center’s capabilities allow 2900 students to be tested simultaneously, with 63 cameras for monitoring, correction, and announcing the results electronically.
