Cairo University President Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht held this morning a meeting with the Organizing Committee for the Science Day celebration held by the university, under the auspices of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to honor a group of its scientists, thinkers, and researchers who won state and university awards, in order to discuss the final arrangements for the party.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Khosht reviewed all the arrangements for the Science Day celebration, which ensured its completion in the fullest way that befits the name of Cairo University, its nobility and distinguished scholars, and aims to encourage and honor distinguished scholars and researchers, in appreciation of their giving and efforts in various scientific and human fields, and the scientific and research achievements they have achieved in the field, Local and international forums, and an affirmation of the status of science and scholars in the Egyptian state.

During the meeting, the President of Cairo University stressed the necessity of distributing all roles to those in charge of organizing and assigning tasks to them accurately, in order to ensure that the Science Day ceremony is produced in an appropriate and distinguished manner. .

The Science Day celebrations are scheduled to start tomorrow, Tuesday at 2:00 pm, with a commemorative photo of the University Council in front of Ahmed Lotfi Al-Sayed Hall, then entering the University Council with a queue, followed by the Republican Peace, reciting verses from the Holy Quran, and then showing a documentary film about Cairo University entitled " They are able to challenge”, followed by a speech by Dr. Muhammad Sami Abdel-Sadiq, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, then a speech by Dr. Muhammad Othman Al-Khasht, President of the University, after which the honoring ceremony began, followed by a concert by Maestro Nader Abbasi, accompanied by the Philharmonic Union Orchestra, and the singing of Reham Abdel-Hakim and Louay . .
