Cairo University President Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht received, in his office, Dr. Shinji Kaneko, Vice President of Hiroshima University for International Cooperation, and his accompanying delegation, to enhance aspects of cooperation between the two universities, within the framework of the university`s keenness to deepen its international role and partnerships with prestigious universities, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Al-Attar, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Sameh Abdel-Fattah, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Dr. Imad El-Sherbiny, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Education and Student Affairs. .

The meeting dealt with the joint cooperation between Cairo and Hiroshima Universities in the fields of scientific research and dual and joint degrees in the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, especially in the Faculties of Engineering and Agriculture, within the framework of the executive program of the memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in all academic fields, scientific research and training. .

The meeting touched on the exchange of students and faculty members through student exchange and allowing students to study a semester or a full university year at Hiroshima University in coordination with Cairo University and obtain a joint certificate between the two universities, in addition to the use of Hiroshima University professors to act as external arbitrators for master`s theses and supervisors for theses. .
