Dr. El Khosht directs end of self-study to obtain total accreditation from the Quality Assurance Authority

    Cairo University President Dr. Muhammad Othman El khosht announced that the university has started preparing self-study for accreditation of the university as a whole from the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation, as part of the university`s steps towards distinguished education that is accredited locally and internationally as a fourth-generation smart university.
    Dr. El-Khosht confirmed that Cairo University is qualified to obtain full accreditation, due to what it possesses of elements that are in line with the requirements and conditions of accreditation in terms of academic, organizational and administrative structure in accordance with internal policy, internationally approved laws and regulations, in addition to possessing sufficient financial and academic resources and a sufficient elite of staff. Teaching and university management with full and sufficient commitment to all quality standards, in addition to obtaining the international ISO certificate in order to achieve the strategic goals of the university as a global university.

    Dr. Elkhosht pointed out that the university has made great progress in all the prestigious international rankings, which are at the forefront of Egyptian universities and among the best in the Arab world and Africa, as well as being considered among the best 1% of universities in the world. It has become one of the best hundred international universities in five majors, and it is the first in international scientific publishing.
    Cairo University also received the largest number of government excellence awards. The first College of Nanotechnology was opened in the Middle East, as a result of the university’s efforts and strategy to go global, to study the distinguished disciplines in first-class universities worldwide, to localize them, and to benefit from them in serving the national projects of the current and future state.

    Dr. Elkhosht said that most colleges are internationally or locally accredited, which qualifies them to obtain full accreditation, such as: medicine, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, veterinary medicine, engineering, regional and urban planning, arts, media, economics and political science, early childhood education. .
