Cairo University, in cooperation with the Public Defense, organized a visit for university students to the Cairo International Book Fair in its 54th edition, under the auspices of Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of the University, and the supervision of Dr. Gamal El Shazly, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
This visit comes within the framework of interest in student activities, activating the university`s plan to develop the cultural and enlightening aspect of students and ensuring their integration and participation in various activities and events.
University students were briefed on the latest books, references and novels in various fields, and participated in a number of cultural events organized by the university. .

By the end of their visit they were keen to acquire some books that caught their interest.

It is worth noting that Cairo University participates in the Cairo International Book Fair, with a wide range of publications, studies, scientific references, and dictionaries that represent a great addition to the movement of science, culture, and thought, in addition to the publications of specialized scientific journals for faculties, scientific departments, and research centers, to spread the message and thought of Cairo University and its scholars. .

The fields of books vary in various types of human knowledge, and they come within the framework of the Cairo University project for scientific progress and the development of the mind and the development of religious awareness and national awareness in application of the principles stipulated in the university’s document for culture and enlightenment issued in 2017. .
