Ashour and El-Khosht inaugurate new Abu Al-Rish Clinics building with participation of Central Bank Governor and Japanese Ambassador

    Mr. Hassan Abdullah, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Loyalty to Egypt Foundation, Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, Ambassador Oka Hiroshi, Ambassador of the State of Japan to Egypt, and JICA delegation, inaugurated the new outpatient clinic complex at the Children`s Specialized University Hospital, as part of the comprehensive development and modernization processes taking place in Cairo University hospitals, and within the framework of the comprehensive strategic plan adopted by the Egyptian state to support and develop university hospitals, in a way that contributes to the advancement of the health system and the upgrading of the level of medical services provided to citizens.

    Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, said that the Japanese Abu El-Rish Hospital and the outpatient clinic building is a new achievement added to Cairo University hospitals, as it represents a distinguished medical edifice and a pioneering work that calls for pride and has a distinct weight in Egypt and is highly supportive of the role of medical services provided to children, emphasizing the role of university hospitals in training, education, scientific research and treatment, praising the building and its efficiency and the progress of its medical equipment and facilities to the latest medical specifications despite the small area of land, but the space was fully utilized.

    For his part, Dr. Muhammad El-Khosht, President of Cairo University, said that the total cost of the outpatient clinic complex project at Abu El-Rish Japanese Hospital amounted to about 20 million US dollars, thanking the political leadership for its unlimited support for the establishment and development of medical edifices and Cairo University projects. He also thanked Dr. Mostafa Madbouly Prime Minister. .
