The Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, obtained international accreditation from the German organization AQAS, thus becoming the first public faculty to obtain German international accreditation for its four programmes.

It is noteworthy that a delegation from the Commission visited the college last March, and over the course of three days, the delegation got acquainted with the educational efforts and activities of all scientific departments within the faculty, and its educational, societal, academic and research role, and how each scientific department has been seeking for a while to prepare for the international accreditation file, which integrates with the efforts of the local accreditation obtained by the Faculty of Mass Communication from the National Authority for Education Quality several years ago, and it was renewed this year.
