Prof. Dr. Mohammad Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, congratulated the university professors, the winners of the state awards  for the year 2023, which were announced by the Ministry of Culture, and granted by the Supreme Council of Culture in various fields of arts, literature, social sciences, legal and economic sciences. 

Dr. Ali El-Din Helal, Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, won the Nile Prize in Social Sciences, and the late Dr. Mohamed Anani, Professor at the Faculty of Arts, won the Nile Prize in Arts.

The State Appreciation Award was won by -in the field of social sciences- Counselor Abdel Majeed Mahmoud, Dr. Al-Sayyid Fleifel at the Faculty of Graduate African Studies, and the journalist writer, Professor Salah Salem, a graduate of Cairo University, and in the field of journalistic literature, Professor Hala Al-Badri, and in the field of arts, Dr. Dalila Al-Kardani, Professor of Architecture and Urban Design at the College of Engineering.

Among the professors of Cairo University, Dr. Ahmed Ragab, Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology, and Dr. Hana Mohamed El-Gohary, Faculty of Arts, won the State Award for Excellence in the Field of Social Sciences.

And for the State Encouragement Award in the field of social sciences, Dr. Naira Muhammad Ibrahim Muhammad Shusha, Faculty of Arts, and Dr. Walaa Hamid Mahmoud Muhammad Al-Zanari, Faculty of Science, and in the field of legal and economic sciences, the branch of return on investment in people on the national economy, Dr. Noha Sami Subhi Mahmoud Omar, Faculty of Economics and Political Science. .

Dr. ElKhosht expressed his pride in the professors and scholars of Cairo University for their excellence and excellence in various fields, and for their receipt of many Nile State awards, appreciation, excellence and encouragement, which are considered a medal of appreciation for their efforts and research that serve the research system in Egypt.

The President of Cairo University emphasized that the university is working to shed light on the honorable and effective models in it, and gives way to its professors and researchers to participate and compete in various fields.
