Cairo University Wins 9 State Awards And Ranks First in Number Of Awards

    Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, congratulated the university scholars who won the state prizes for the year 2022, the results of which were announced from the new administrative capital by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and conducted by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.


    Cairo University won 9 awards to come first, along with Mansoura University, from Cairo University: Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed Abu Al-Ghar, Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, won the Nile Award in Advanced Technological Sciences, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Harith Mohamed Abdel-Rahman, Professor at the National Laser Institute, won the Appreciation Prize in Advanced Technological Sciences, and Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud won the Excellence Award in Engineering Sciences, and Dr. Othman Lutfi, a professor at the Faculty of Engineering with the Pioneers Award in Engineering Sciences, Dr. Nadia Zakhari, a professor at the National Cancer Institute, the Women`s Appreciation Award in Health, Dr. Maggie Al-Halawani, a professor at the Faculty of Mass Communication, the Women`s Appreciation Award in Social Sciences, and Dr. Fakiha Al-Tayeb, a professor at the Faculty of Science, the Women`s Appreciation Award in Water and Energy, Dr. Hind Ezzat Salameh, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science, the Encouragement Award in Chemical Sciences, and Dr. Rabab Hamed Sayed Hassan, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Encouragement Award in Medical Sciences.


    Dr. Mohamed Al-Khosht expressed his pride in the professors and researchers of Cairo University for their excellence in various fields, and for obtaining many awards, which are considered a medal of appreciation for their efforts and research that serve the research system in Egypt and the world.
