Cairo University Journal for Advanced Research tops Egyptian and African periodicals in Clarivate`s global classification of scientific journals for the year 2022

    Dr. Mohamed El-Khasht, President of Cairo University, received a report from the International Rankings Unit, where the report confirmed that the Cairo University Journal for Advanced Research (JAR) is leading all Egyptian and African scientific journals with an impact factor of 10.7 and its continued presence within the golden square of the Q1 journals category, according to the statement of the Egyptian journals included in the classification. Clarivate International Review of International Scientific Journals for the year 2022, which announced the existence of 55 Egyptian journals that have an impact factor in the Clarivate classification, including 5 Egyptian journals within the first square (Q1) for the best scientific journals. The Journal of the Faculty of Computing and Artificial Intelligence at Cairo University ranked fifth in Egypt, with an impact factor of 5.2.


    The report pointed to the emergence of Egyptian periodicals in the social sciences sector for the first time within the classification, as it was entered by the Cairo University Journal, Review of Economics and Political Science, issued by the Faculty of Economics and Political Science.
