The English Language Section at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University held a training course on artificial intelligence, as part of the summer training program that the department holds for its students. This came under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Faculty Dean, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nermin Al-Azraq, English Section Head, and Prof. Dr. Samah Al-Muhammadi, Vice Head.

This training course came under the title "The Uses of Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Media", and the course was given by Dr. Radwa Abdel Latif, an expert in the field of artificial intelligence. The course dealt with the basic concepts of artificial intelligence and its mechanism of action, how artificial intelligence can be used in the field of media, and whether artificial intelligence is a substitute for the human element in the field of media, and the uses of artificial intelligence, in addition to the new professions arising from its use. At the end of the course, certificates of appreciation were distributed and photos were taken with the students.

It is noteworthy that the summer training program in the English Section at the Faculty of Mass Communication Cairo University started last month after the end of the academic year final exams. The first training course within the summer training program was a training course entitled Digital Transformation and Qualification for the Media Labor Market, as well as organizing a field visit for the students to the Middle East News Agency.
