Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nermeen Al-Azraq, Head of the English Section and Dr. Samah Al-Muhammadi, Vice head of the English Section, a group of the most prominent Egyptian media professionals were honored within the framework of the celebration of the English Section’s Graduation Projects Festival at the Faculty of Mass Coomunication, Cairo University.

Among the honoured media profeesionals and practitioners, Mr. Mohamed Nawar Head of Egyptian Radio, Director Amr Abdeen, Mr. Khaled ElBalshy head of the Egyptian journalists syndicate, Mr. Hisham Soliman Assistant Chairman for media production at UMS, Mr. Ahmed Mahmoud editor in chief of AlAhram Weekly, Dr. Tarek Alawady journalist at MENA and Dr Heidi Baioumi CU International Bureau Director.

EMCCU also honoured a number of prominent media figures; Mr. Abdel Jawad Abokap head of the digital transformation foundation, Mr. Magdy Ibrahim Head of the Photojournalists Division, Journalist Nagwa Tantawy, and TV presenters Dr. Khaled Saad, Mr Mohamed Tork, Dr. Heba Hamza, and Dr. Dina Fekry.
