EMCCU Annual Graduation Projects` Festival 2023.. Seniors Presented their Campaigns amid wide praise

    Within the activities of its festival for the second day:


    The English Section in MCCU celebrates the graduation projects of its students in the field of public relations and marketing


    Prof. Hanan Gunaid: Student projects are characterized by a professional level that rises to the professional level, according to the opinion of experts and practitioners.


    Prof. Hanan Gunaid: The students presented social campaign projects aimed at enhancing the awareness aspect within the framework of the university`s strategy and Egypt`s vision 2030.

    Prof. Dr. Samah Al-Mohammadi: Our students presented projects that were praised by the arbitration committees and that they possess the elements of implementation to meet the needs of society.



    For the second day, the activities of the Graduation Projects Festival for students of the English section of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University 2022/2023, were launched, within the framework of the Public Relations and Advertising major, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, and Prof. Dr. Salwa Al-Awadly, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision and organization of Prof. Dr. Nermin Nabil Al-Azraq, Head of the English Section, Prof. Dr. Samah Al-Mohammadi, Vice-Head of the English Section. The activities of the second day were to display students` graduation projects in the field of marketing.



    Prof. Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, expressed her great happiness for the honorable effort of students’ graduation projects in the English section, explaining that the level of projects this year is characterized by educational campaigns, social marketing and awareness campaigns to address societal phenomena, noting that the projects are distinguished by the level of implementation and professionalism. Which rises to the level of professionalism, and does not deviate from the executive levels of marketing media campaigns and social marketing campaigns in the field of official and private media.


    Prof. Dr. Hanan Gunaid added that the projects presented by the students represent a real response to societal needs, and come within the framework of Cairo University`s strategy headed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, and his unlimited support for the college and his constant encouragement for students to exercise their talents and creativity. She said that the projects are mainly launched in line with the university`s strategy and Egypt`s vision 2030

    The activities of the second day of the festival began with a welcoming speech from Prof. Dr. Nermin Nabil Al-Azraq, during which she expressed her great happiness with the activities of the second day to present the graduation projects of students in the field of public relations, explaining that the students presented a distinguished level of campaigns specialized in public relations activities and organizing events within the framework of projects They graduated, noting that the campaigns that were implemented as efforts within the framework of graduation projects were able to provide ideas for marketing campaigns concerned with the public interest and related to the fields of ideas implemented in the labor market in the field of public relations, awareness and marketing campaigns, as well as social and institutional marketing campaigns.


    Prof. Dr. Samah Al-Mohammadi expressed her great happiness and welcome to the guests of the English Division’s Graduation Projects Festival, noting that the students were able, during a whole year, to organize many distinguished events within the framework of marketing for their marketing and awareness campaigns, which were able to win the praises of the members of the arbitration committees, noting that The ideas that were implemented were able to reach a high level of professionalism, mastery and professionalism in their implementation, which contributed to their honorable exit, according to their description.

    This was followed by a presentation by the students of their graduation projects during the academic year 2022/2023, which included several projects, including a graduation project under the title “Nibari”. New, and the campaign`s main goal is to combine Egyptian food with tourism.
    In addition to their active participation in covering the Tourism and Taste Festival in its first session for the year 2023, which was held in Cairo Tower for three days from February 23 to 25, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, and the Chamber of Tourist Facilities and Restaurants.


    The campaign came under the supervision of Dr. Taghreed Magdy, a teacher at the Department of Public Relations and Advertising, and Dr. Malak Asaad, a lecturer in the English Section, Department of Public Relations and Advertising at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University.


    The projects also included the presentation of a graduation project aimed at strengthening the Egyptian cultural identity, and it was launched under the name “Where are we from, our two countries” and its slogan is original Egyptian, under the supervision of Dr. Hoda Salah.

    The goal of the campaign referred to in the students’ presentation was defined as promoting awareness of the importance of preserving the different cultural identities in each governorate in Egypt, encouraging the public not to be affected by the new world, preserving their cultural heritage, and highlighting the beauty and difference of each culture in terms of dialect, customs, traditions, food, crafts and music.


    The students’ presentations also included a promotional campaign 2023 entitled “Diswan” The Green Experience, and it came under the auspices of Dr. Hanan Junaid, Dean of the College, and the general supervision of Dr. Nermin Al-Azraq, Head of the English Section. The project was supervised by Dr. Alaa Fawzi, and King Asaad.


    The presentations also included a presentation by students of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, in the English Language Department, for a graduation project campaign called “Qafela 96”, which is about promoting desert tourism and encouraging Egyptian youth, especially to carry out desert activities, by highlighting the unknown desert places in Egypt.
