The Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University will hold a symposium on the anniversary of the glorious October victory on Sunday, October 9, in the faculty’s conference hall, Under the title (October.. Victory Strategy.. Crossing to the Future), in which Major General Samir Farag, one of the heroes of the October War and former Director of the Department of Moral Affairs, will participate, speaking about the Military tools and diplomacy on the road to victory
The Symposium will be held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University and Mrs. Dr. Hanan Gunied, Acting Dean of the faculty with the supervision of Dr. Nashwa Akl - Professor in Radio and Television department
Lyricist Jamal Bakheet and actor Sameh Al-Sraiti will also participate in the symposium, speaking about the soft power of art to raise morale before and during the war.
Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Youssef, the former vice dean of the faculty and professor of public relations will also participate, speaking about the solidity of the Egyptian soldier and the contexts surrounding the road to victory.
Egyptian Hero Muhammad Yaqoub (the soldier with the iconic image of the victory sign) will be the special guest of symposium and honored for his great role in the war.
Famous Egyptian TV presenter Reham Ibrahim will host the event. .
