Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, announced the start of the midterm exams for the first semester of the current academic year 2023/2024 in the university’s colleges during the month of November, according to the schedules of each college and in accordance with the nature of the study there, and within the framework of the university’s keenness to proceed the educational process according to the rules and time map of the academic year.

Dr. El-Khosht said that the schedules and locations of the midterm exams have been announced to all students on the electronic portals and official pages of the colleges, noting that the colleges have fully prepared to hold the exams in terms of preparing the halls and laboratories necessary for that.

Dr. El-Khosht explained that midterm exams measure understanding and thinking, and include the topics that were studied from the beginning of the study until the date of the exams to measure the student’s ability to collect and understand the study materials.

Dr. El-Khosht stressed the need to take all measures to ensure that a suitable climate is provided for students within the committees to perform exams calmly, and to provide them with all means of comfort and safety, with the need to complete the correction work and announce the results immediately after the completion of the exams.
