Under the patronage of Dr. Elkhosht, President of Cairo University: the end of the activities of the training course at the Faculty of Mass Communication on “Fake News and Media Misinformation” in cooperation with the German Friedrich Naumann Foundation.

Dr. Hanan Gunaid: “Friedrich Naumann” is a model for successful institutions in the field of social responsibility, and the Faculty of Mass Communication is keen on cooperation and partnership with distinguished institutions to perform its societal role in accordance with the university’s plan.

At the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, the activities of the training course organized by the faculty in cooperation with the German Friedrich Naumann Foundation, entitled “Fake News and Media Misinformation,” were concluded under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of the University and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty.

At the conclusion of the course, the participating media professionals were honored and certificates were distributed by Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Faculty Dean, Dr. Salwa Al-Awadly, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Hani Abdel Malak, Director of the Egypt Office at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation.

It is worth noting that a training course entitled “Fake News and Media Misinformation” in cooperation with the German Friedrich Naumann Foundation was held from November 27 to 29, 2023 at the Faculty of Mass Comm., Cairo University, and was lectured by faculty professors and media experts from various media and journalistic institutions and websites.
