Counselor Mohamed Shawqi, Attorney General, and Dr. Mohamed Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the two parties in the fields of education, scientific research, training and publishing.

The protocol was signed at the headquarters of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in New Cairo. The signing of the protocol comes within the framework of the keenness of the Egyptian Public Prosecution and Cairo University to enhance aspects of cooperation between them in various scientific, research, training, and service fields, and scientific communication through the exchange of studies and experiences in areas of common interest.

The protocol aims to assist researchers from members of the Public Prosecution in the field of legal, administrative, economic, social and political studies and other academic programs by providing partial and full scholarships, making scientific references and indexes available, and benefiting from human potential to enhance aspects of cooperation in the scientific, training and research fields available to both parties.

The protocol also allows members of the Public Prosecution to publish research, studies, reports, and other forms of scientific production in scientific magazines and periodicals, and to exchange experiences between academic and judicial cadres on social and criminal issues of common interest.
