Cairo University launches the literary and cultural competition eligible for Ibdaa 11

    Cairo University launched the literary cultural competition qualifying for the Ibdaa 11 competition in the literary, scientific and artistic fields for the youth of universities, higher institutes and government academies, Under the sponsorship of Dr. Muhammad Othman Elkhosht, President of the University, within the framework of the university’s keenness to encourage its students to participate in local and international competitions, and to support them in discovering and developing their creativity and talents.
    Dr. Mohamed El-Khosht said that Cairo University organizes many competitions to attract students to participate in them, adopt talents that deserve attention and development, open creative paths for them, whether scientific, artistic, cultural or sports, and support student teams participating in various competitions after preparing them in an integrated manner, to achieve Success and obtaining advanced positions, pointing out that participation in local and international competitions has a leading role in refining and preparing the students’ personality, Get them out of the daily routine of study, developing their skills and creating a spirit of honest competition among them.

    Dr. Muhammad Al-Khosht explained that the literary cultural competition launched by the university includes several fields, the most important of which are poetry, "standard, colloquial and lyrical", the short story, the novel, theatrical composition, and the television and radio reporter, pointing out that there are many student and creative and distinguished young cadres in various fields. The university is keen to support their talents.
    Dr. Jamal Al-Shazly, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, added that organizing competitions contributes to encouraging students to refine and highlight their talents, develop their mental and intellectual abilities, and provide opportunity for talented people, He explained that the conditions of the competition are to write works on the computer, and the applicant must be one of the university students enrolled in the academic year 2022/2023, and the age is not less than 18 years and not more than 27 years, and the participating work is an original creativity of its owner.
    Dr. Gamal El-Shazly pointed out that the university grants prizes to the winners of the first three places in each field, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports awards prizes to the winners of the finalists for the creativity competition 11 in each field. The prize for the first place is 20 thousand pounds, and the second place is 18 thousand pounds, And the third place 16 thousand pounds.
