A number of Cairo University`s deans confirmed the regularity of studying at the faculties since the start of the academic year 2022/2023, with the commitment of faculty members to be present in the halls and amphitheaters to give lectures to new and old students.
Faculty of Economics and political science
Dr. Mahmoud Al-said, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and political science at Cairo University, said that the faculty is committed to the decisions of the University Council regarding the University book, explaining that the book will be made available electronically to students to obtain it within the expenses of studying at the faculty.
Dr. Mahmoud Al-said that a "CD" was provided to each student at the level of the different academic teams, while also raising the courses on the University`s educational platform, in order to ensure that the student obtains the book and access to the study materials online.

The dean of the Faculty of Economics and political science at Cairo University stated that the faculty organized the study after the end of the reception week for new students, pointing out that the faculty has also prepared an integrated plan for student activities aimed at raising awareness and enhancing belonging and patriotism among students and will be applied, foremost of which is organizing a seminar on the victories of October 1973.


Faculty of Commerce
For his part, Dr. GamalShehata, dean of the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University, said that the regularity of studying at the college for students of the Arabic division, departments and programs at the college since the start of the new academic year, pointing out that the college, as part of the digital transformation, has begun to upload courses on the college`s website.

Dr. Jamal Shehata added that every student will have a code through which he can access the college`s website to obtain courses electronically as part of the plan to convert the university book into an electronic one, in addition, through this code, the student will be able to follow everything related to the educational system throughout the academic year and follow up courses, lectures and what is requested by faculty members.

The dean of the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University stated that the faculty is now working on finding a mechanism that guarantees the preservation of students` rights to obtain the University Book and at the same time preserving the rights of faculty members in exchange for books and intellectual property for authoring the book.

In a related context, Dr. Reda Abdel Wahab, dean of the Faculty of computers and information at Cairo University, said that the nature of studying at the faculty depends on the internet and digital transformation, and also depends on the latest scientific references and is made available to students, explaining that the University Book will be made available through the Cairo University educational platform, in addition to providing hard copies to those who wish from students, as some have a habit of studying through the paper copy.
The dean of the Faculty of computers added that the faculty has a digital library that allows the student to access electronically and get the books and references that he desires and benefit from them in studies and courses.
