The Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University held a special celebration Sunday, November 23, 2025, entitled "Golden Leaders 2," as part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations. This occasion embodied the highest meaning of loyalty by honoring a select group of current, former, and deceased administrative leaders, in addition to staff members who have served the faculty for decades, leaving a clear mark on its history and setting an exemplary standard of dedication, loyalty, and hard work.

The celebration was held under the patronage of Professor Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadek, President of Cairo University, and was conceived and overseen by Professor Thuraya Ahmed El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty. Professor Laila Abdel-Magid oversaw and executed the entire event, including the preparation of a commemorative book containing the names of the honorees, their professional biographies, and their achievements within the faculty. The celebration was filled with joy and emotion, reflecting the strong bonds within the college community across generations. The occasion served as a bridge connecting the past and present in a moment of shared pride. The significance of the recognition was evident in the scenes of joy and pride that filled the hall, particularly given the unprecedented scale of the celebration, the diverse backgrounds of those honored, and the presentation of certificates of appreciation and commemorative plaques that embodied the college`s recognition of a long history of dedicated service and hard work. This moment demonstrated the college`s deep belief in the importance of acknowledging the contributions of those who have supported it throughout the years.

The event concluded amidst a general atmosphere of gratitude and appreciation, evident in the attendees` enthusiastic response and praise for the meticulous organization and the proactive spirit that revived a culture of loyalty to all those who have played a dedicated role in all departments and facilities of the college. The celebratory atmosphere affirmed that true leadership is built on achievement and continuous work, and that the impact individuals leave on their institutions remains present regardless of generational changes.
