Professor Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadek, President of Cairo University, has issued a decision assigning Professor Dr. Wessam Mohamed Ahmed Nasr, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication for Graduate Studies and Research, to act as Dean of the Faculty, until the procedures for appointing a new dean are completed or any emergency change occurs. In accordance with the law, this decision results in the conclusion of Professor Dr. Thoraya Ahmed El-Badawy’s term as Dean and former Acting Dean of the Faculty, following her appointment as a Member of Parliament.

The Faculty of Mass Communication congratulates Professor Dr. Wessam Nasr on her appointment as Acting Dean of the Faculty and wishes Professor Dr. Thoraya El-Badawy every success in her forthcoming responsibilities.
