The Journalism and Digital Media Department at Cairo University’s Faculty of Mass Communication hosted its annual graduation projects festival. Held under the auspices of Cairo University President Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek and Dean Prof. Dr. Wisam Nasr, the event showcased 19 student projects across four specialized programs: Digital Media, TV Journalism, Print and Digital Journalism, and English Journalism.

This year’s festival featured the debut of the late Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Alam El-Din Award for best digital media projects. The "Waw" project secured first place, followed by "Waha" in second, and "Off Air" in third.

Additionally, renowned journalist Dr. Mohamed El-Baz presented the awards for TV Journalism. First place went to the "Retro" project, while "El madda sefr" claimed second. The third-place prize was split evenly between the projects "Atharaha" and "Matrah."
