Dr.. Fathia Sabri, Director of the Unit: The training course comes under the umbrella of raising the efficiency of the administrative staff and the quality of the work environment
Under the auspices of Dr. Mohammad Othman El-Khosht, President of Cairo University, and Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, the Human Resources Unit of the Community Service and Environmental Development organized, on Sunday morning, March 19, a course for its employees in the field of professional dealing with Microsoft’s accounting program package (Excel) inside the faculty’s laboratory on the fourth floor, in the objective framework of the unit to enhance the capabilities of facilitating the functional tasks of the administrative apparatus and staff and to improve the efficiency and quality of the work environment within the departments of the faculty.
The workshop activities, which were presented by Mr. Mahmoud Saeed, employee of the administration Department, clarified the methods of dealing with the program window, its functions, the types of input methods for data and information, the methods of executing mathematical transactions using the electronic equations of the program and the simplified methods for their implementation, and an explanation of the importance of the professionalization of the Microsoft accounting software package and the means of facilitation it offers to perform job tasks. The training workshop was held to explain the theoretical aspects and implement scientific applications on laboratory equipment.
From her part, Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, indicated that the Faculty of Mass Communication seeks, through the Human Resources Unit, to maximize the return from raising the efficiency of the administrative staff, to provide what facilitates the work environment, and to work on implementing the message and vision of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, which upholds the values of digitization and continuous modernization which also aims to qualify and raise the efficiency of its employees to serve the objectives of the educational institution and to provide distinguished service professionally and in a quick time that is consistent with the nature of the burdens required within the units and departments of the faculty.

On her part, Dr. Fathia Sabry, Director of the Human Resources Unit at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, stated that the aim of holding this series of workshops and training courses for employees is to contribute to developing the skills and capabilities of human resources in a way that supports the distinguished position of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, especially the administrative apparatus, which is the active basis behind all the successes and efforts of the faculty
