    Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, witnessed signing a memorandum of understanding between the Supreme Council of University Hospitals and the Arab Council for Health Specializations, in the presence of Dr. Adel El-Adawy, Head of the Executive Office of the Arab Council for Health Specializations, and Dr. Omar bin Awad Al-Rawas, Secretary-General of the Arab Council for Health Specializations, and Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of University Hospitals, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Shennawi, Acting President of Galala University, at the Ministry`s headquarters.
    The minister stressed the importance of signing the protocol to enhance joint cooperation and exchange of experiences between Egypt and the brotherly Arab countries, and to strengthen the friendly relations that bring together Arab countries in order to provide the best educational, medical and health services to citizens, noting that the protocol contributes to the adoption of medical programs and training, and the organization of scientific and research activities. joint for the benefit of both parties.

    The Minister referred to the role of the Supreme Council of Egyptian University Hospitals in coordinating and cooperating between university hospitals within the Arab Republic of Egypt to ensure the proper utilization and development of their resources. treatment, training and scientific research, expressing Egypt’s welcome to transfer its expertise in this field and to make available the scientific capabilities owned by educational institutions to serve its brothers in Arab countries.
    Dr. pointed out. Adel El-Adawy pointed out that this cooperation enhances Egypt`s role as a leading destination in the field of health care and medical education, and makes university hospitals a training center for students from Arab countries.


    On his part, Dr. Omar bin Awad Al-Rawas said that the protocol aims to improve health services in the Arab world through qualifying specialists in various health fields, and raising the scientific and practical level of health service providers, noting the importance of the protocol in strengthening cooperation between the concerned educational institutions, councils and national bodies for health specializations and international bodies, Expand benefit from the experience of Egyptian doctors in all fields of medical care, noting that cooperation includes all medical specialties, as well as nursing and dentistry, medical education and scientific research. .

Hossam Abdel Ghaffar pointed out that the protocol that was signed aims to build cooperation relations between the two parties in the health fields in a way that achieves the common interest of both sides, and its duration is 4 years, subject to renewal, and the terms of the protocol stipulate:
    -Supporting the institutional and programmatic accreditation of health institutions affiliated with Egyptian universities for training opportunities in the programs of the Arab Council for Health Specializations in accordance with its regulations through direct communication with them.
    -Cooperating in organizing the exams of the Arab Council for Health Specializations in accordance with its regulations.
    -Planning and implementing training courses, studies and research in the priority areas for both parties.
    -Exchanging experiences in the fields of education, training, evaluation, and providing joint scientific activities.
