At Cairo Opera House.. MCCU Graduation Ceremony Class 2021/2022

    The Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, celebrated its graduates’ ceremony at the Cairo Opera House, the class of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Alaam ElDeen Class 2021/2022, under auspices of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Othman Al-Khosht, President of Cairo University, and Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty with the attendance of the leaders of Cairo University.
    The activities of the student ceremony began with the organization of the graduates walkway outside the concert hall, led by the dean of the faculty, vice-presidents, and faculty attendees. During that, the national anthem was played, and some ceremonial music pieces were played during the entrance ceremony of the walkway by the military band.
    After that, the celebration ceremonies began inside the concert hall of the Opera House, and the national anthem began to be played, and this was followed by the recitation of the verses of the Holy Qur’an, after which the Dean, Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, gave a welcome speech, marking the start of the student activities.
    In her speech, Dr. Hanan Junaid, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, welcomed the participating guests, starting with the leaders of Cairo University, Dr. Muhammad Al-Attar, Vice President for Graduate Studies, and Dr. Jamal El-Shazly, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, the media advisor to the Minister of Higher Education, the professors of the Faculty and teaching staff, and its honored students.

    Dr. Hanan Gunaid, said that the facculty of Mass Communication celebrates today the students` graduation in a manner befitting the name and status of the Faculty of Mass Communication, the pioneer of mass media faculties in Egypt and the Middle East, and that the Faculty of Mass Communication was able to organize this celebration thanks to the efforts of its professors, the assistant staff and the administrative staff, and that the celebration comes under the name of the late Professor Dr. Mahmoud Alam El-Din, who is considered a prominent scholar in the Department of Journalism, Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, and has a pioneering footprint in the field of journalistic studies in the Arab world, and that naming his name to the graduating class of students of the years 2021/2022 is part of the lineage of credit to his family, and giving the name of the late scientist As part of the well-deserved honor, which documents the name of this prominent scholar, by graduating its students holding a bachelor’s degree for university education and holders of master’s and doctoral degrees from postgraduate students.
    The Dean of the Faculty added that at the research level for the students of the Faculty of Mass Communication who hold master’s and doctoral degrees, it is indicated that the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University is the most present at the level of the Arab Republic of Egypt in terms of attracting the research interface, and the ability to attract students to join its academic programs, with the elites of its professors in it. Various important and diverse research disciplines.
    After that, Dr. Mohamed El-Attar, Vice President of Cairo University for Graduate Studies, gave a speech in which he expressed his great happiness to participate in the graduation ceremony of the faculty students, noting that the Faculty of Mass Communication is one of the most prestigious faculties within the edifice of Cairo University, and that the students of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, are a model for all Egyptian universities to follow. .
    During his speech, Dr. said. Jamal El-Shazly, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, said that the graduation ceremony of the 2021/2022 class is a culmination of the effort of the Faculty of Mass Communication and its dean, which always seeks to overcome the obstacles of the educational process, and to provide a cooperative model between the faculty’s administration, its professors, and its students, indicating that the students of the Faculty of Mass Communication are a university Cairo is one of the leading models in the field of media work, calling for continued success and excellence for the students of the faculty.

    In turn, Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, Media Adviser to the Minister of Higher Education, said that the graduation of the class of the Faculty of Mass Communication in the name of a figure from the media of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, is the late Dr. Mahmoud Alam El-Din, so it is a well-deserved tribute to the late professor who provided his students and the research and professional media field with many achievements, directing expressions of welcome and praise to the faculty’s students, professors and employees.
    After that, the graduate students gave their speech, represented by the speech of the student Mohamed Magdy on behalf of the graduates of the Arabic section, and the student Hana Hamed, representing the graduates of the English section, and they expressed their great happiness in delivering the speech of the graduates on behalf of their colleagues, explaining that the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University was a model for them in the educational experience the faculty provided, throughout the study period, all means of knowledge, training and qualification for professional media work, and that the Faculty of Mass Communication was the guide for all media ethics and good professional work,
    This was followed by a speech by the representative of the Student Union at the Faculty of Information, Cairo University, Abdullah Armesh, in which he stated that the Faculty of Information, Cairo University, provided a lot to its students in terms of facilitating the educational and training process in the various departments of the faculty. .
    After that, a documentary video film produced by students of the Faculty of Information, Cairo University, was shown, documenting the effort of the educational process and the graduation projects of students from the various departments of the faculty.
    After that, the names of the honored professors were announced, and they are Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Alam El Din, Prof. Dr. Barakat Abdel Aziz, Prof. Dr. Nabil Taleb, Prof. Labib El Sebaei, Prof. Farouk Jwaideh, Prof. Yasser Rizk, and Prof. Hassan. Hamed, Mr. Hossam Salih, Prof. Muhammad Abdel-Motal, Prof. Dr. Hassan Ali, Dr. Muhammad Mansour Heiba, Prof. Abdel-Azim Sidqi
    The scene of the ceremony was completed by honoring the graduates of the bachelor’s degree in the departments of journalism, radio and television, public relations and advertising.

After that, a group photo was taken of all the graduates of the 2021/2022 class, accompanied by the honoring platform, and the closing ceremony music was played.
