Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Othman ElKhosht, President of Cairo University, and Prof. Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, the Youth Welfare Department organized a ceremony honoring its outstanding students who won at the level of university competitions and student activities, and celebrating the inauguration of the Faculty Students’ Union for the new academic year.

Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty, gave the speech of the ceremony by extending words of thanks and celebration to the distinguished students of the Faculty who are the winners in student activities, explaining that the Faculty Mass Communication, Cairo University, is an edifice for attracting and nurturing the creativity of its students who have all the necessary skills and need to employ these skills in activities that are beneficial to them.
During her speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University pointed out that she is keen to overcome all obstacles facing the faculty’s students and that she always seeks to listen to the proposals of the faculty’s students and follow the open-door policy, starting from the dean’s office, passing through all the faculty’s departments and its various departments, noting that the faculty of mass media is referred to at the level of university colleges, as the most in the field of providing distinguished care for its students.

During his speech, Ayman Mounir, Director of the Youth Welfare Department at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, said that the Faculty is a distinguished edifice in terms of the capabilities of its students, expressing his deep appreciation for the efforts of Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty, who seeks guidance to facilitate all matters of interest to the students of the college, and to open all facilitation tools to hold youth care activities, expressing thanks to all workers in the Youth Welfare Department as the active founders in all praise directed to the Youth Welfare Department.
After that, the inauguration of the Student Union was announced and its members were celebrated, followed by handing over certificates to the honored students, and the attendees took memorial photos accompanied by Dr. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty, and members of the Youth Welfare Department.
