A delegation from the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, visited Panteion University in Athens, Greece, headed by Prof. Hanan Gunaid, Dean of the Faculty, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Nermin Azraq, Head of the English Section, Dr. Alaa Fawzi, International Relations Coordinator at the Faculty, during the period (April 25, 2023 - May 1, 2023).

This visit came as part of the "Erasmus Plus" program of the European Union, in which Cairo University participates, as part of the efforts of the International Relations Office, under the auspices of Prof. Dr Mohammad El-Khosht, President of Cairo University, and Professor Dr. Mohammad Mohsen Al-Attar, Vice President of Cairo University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Heidi Bayoumi, Director of Grants and Projects in the University`s Office of International Relations.

The visit program included holding several high-level meetings with leaders and members
Pantheon University, as follows:

- Professor Mariana Psella, Vice President for International Relations.
- Professor George Clemis, Head of the Department of Communication, Media and Culture
- Prof. Pantelis Vatikiotis, Director of the Journalism Lab.

The visit also included a meeting between the Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication and members of the accompanying delegation with the students of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, who are delegated to study at Pantheon University, where the study and living conditions of the students were inspected and the study systems and course at Pantheon University were reviewed.

The visit resulted in an agreement to move forward in cooperation between the two parties in several academic fields in the field of exchanging professors and students, holding conferences, scientific seminars and joint research projects.
