Cairo University’s Faculty of Mass Communication is set to host its 30th International Scientific Conference under the title "Health Communication and the Empowerment of Contemporary Societies", scheduled to take place from May 7–8, 2025.

This significant academic event is held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of Cairo University, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Sayed, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

The conference will be led by Prof. Dr. Souraya Ahmed El-Badaoui, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, with Prof. Dr. Wissam Nasr, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, serving as the conference secretary general.

Marking three decades of scientific dialogue and research in the field, this year’s conference will delve into the crucial role of health communication in shaping public awareness and empowering communities to face modern-day challenges, especially in light of rapid technological and media developments.

With participation expected from scholars, researchers, and practitioners from Egypt and beyond, the conference aims to serve as a platform for exchanging ideas, presenting research findings, and fostering collaboration in the dynamic field of health communication.
